Terms
Please read this first
These Terms explain who supplies the New Thought Academy offers, what each offer includes, how payment and delivery work, and what both sides can reasonably expect. They should be read together with the Cancellation & Refund Policy, Privacy Notice and Self-Development Disclaimer.
Before you pay, you must have a fair opportunity to review the offer, the full price, these Terms and the applicable cancellation terms; correct any mistake; and leave the transaction without placing the order. Keep or download a copy of the version shown when you buy. The version accepted at checkout applies to that purchase.
Nothing in these Terms removes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA), the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), or any other applicable South African law.

2. Who may purchase
The offers are intended for adults aged 18 or older. By purchasing, you confirm that you are at least 18, that the contact and payment information you provide is accurate, and that you are purchasing for your own use unless New Thought Academy agrees otherwise in writing.
If you are unsure whether an offer is suitable for you, contact Khwezi before paying. If you need medical, mental-health, legal, financial or crisis support, use an appropriately qualified provider instead.
3. The offers and prices
All prices are in South African rand (ZAR).
Private Clarity Call — R500 once-off
One private 60-minute online call with Khwezi. The call is a focused educational conversation for questions, explanation and direction. It is not therapy, diagnosis, treatment or a promise of a particular result.
Practical Guide — R450 once-off
A digital written guide containing New Thought teaching, explanations, exercises and practical reflection. The R450 purchase does not include a private consultation or live session.
3-Month Programme — R1,500 per month for three months
This is one three-month programme paid in three instalments of R1,500, making the planned total R4,500.
The programme is offered only after assessment and acceptance. It does not renew or continue charging after the third R1,500 payment unless the customer separately agrees to a new offer.
The price and billing schedule shown at checkout must match the offer on this page. New Thought Academy will not add an undisclosed service fee after an order is placed.
The programme provides structured learning, guidance and practical application. The schedule and agreed support are explained before enrolment and payment.
4. Programme application and acceptance
The Private Clarity Call and Practical Guide do not require programme acceptance. The 3-Month Programme does.
An application is a request to be considered, not a guarantee of a place. Khwezi personally reviews complete applications for readiness, fit, scheduling and available capacity. The assessment is educational intake, not a psychological, medical or financial assessment.
Only accepted applicants receive the private programme payment link. Do not pay for the programme through a link that was not sent to you after acceptance. If capacity is full, New Thought Academy may decline or defer an otherwise suitable application.
5. Online payment and verification
The Practical Guide checkout is intended to run through Shopify with Paystack as the payment provider. The Private Clarity Call uses Calendly for scheduling and a separate Paystack payment page. Use the same email address for both; Khwezi matches the booking to confirmed payment. The provider processes card or other payment details under its own terms and privacy notice. New Thought Academy receives the order or transaction reference, amount, status and information reasonably needed to match the payment, but does not ask you to send full card details, a CVV, password or one-time PIN by email, WhatsApp, Calendly or an assessment form.
Returning to a New Thought Academy thank-you page does not, by itself, prove that payment succeeded. A call, guide delivery or programme place is final only after the live transaction is verified. If an amount, payment count or description on Paystack differs from the offer you selected, do not pay; contact Khwezi first.
For the programme, the payment authority must be limited to the three R1,500 payments described above. A failed or missed payment does not authorise an undisclosed charge. New Thought Academy may pause undelivered programme services after reasonable notice while a missed payment is resolved, subject to the CPA and other applicable law.
6. Private Clarity Call booking and attendance
The booking page contains an embedded Calendly calendar. Choose an available time using the same email address used for payment. Follow the payment step shown in the booking journey. The appointment is final only after any required R500 payment is confirmed and a booking confirmation is issued by Calendly or Khwezi.
Join on time with a working device, the call method shown in your booking confirmation and enough data. If you arrive late, Khwezi will reasonably try to use the remaining time, but the call may still end at its scheduled finishing time. Neither person may record the call without the other's clear permission.
Rescheduling, late cancellations and no-shows are handled under the Cancellation & Refund Policy. If Khwezi needs to move the call, you may accept a reasonable alternative or request the remedy described in that policy.
7. Practical Guide delivery
The Practical Guide is supplied digitally after the R450 payment is verified. Delivery is normally through a secure download link attached to the verified Shopify order, or through a secure link sent to the email address used for the purchase.
If the guide does not arrive, the link does not work, or the file is materially different from its description, contact Khwezi with the order or transaction reference. New Thought Academy will investigate and, where appropriate, restore access, resend or replace the file, or provide another remedy required by law.
8. Programme delivery and support
The Programme schedule and session times are agreed during onboarding. Any schedule or delivery commitments that form part of enrolment must be stated clearly before payment, and reasonable changes may be agreed in writing.
Khwezi provides teaching, questions, explanations and the learning support agreed at enrolment. The client remains responsible for practising, making decisions and taking action. Lessons and programme access are personal and may not be transferred to someone else without written agreement.
10. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
You remain responsible for your internet connection, data, device and a suitable private space for the call method shown in your booking confirmation sessions.
- give accurate booking, application and contact information;
- attend agreed sessions or give reasonable notice when plans change;
- keep payment and download links secure;
- use the material lawfully and for your own learning;
- make your own decisions and seek qualified professional help when needed; and
- treat Khwezi and other participants respectfully.
11. Cancellations, cooling-off rights and refunds
The full Cancellation & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms: Refund policy.
Depending on how and when a transaction is concluded or performance begins, statutory cooling-off rights may apply. Where ECTA section 44 applies and no statutory exception applies, a consumer may cancel an electronic transaction for services within seven days after the agreement is concluded, without reason or penalty. ECTA also recognises exceptions, including where services began with the consumer's consent before that period ended. If CPA fixed-term rules apply to the programme, the consumer may cancel on 20 business days' notice in writing or another recorded form, subject only to amounts lawfully due and a reasonable cancellation charge where permitted.
New Thought Academy does not rely on a blanket statement that every “exchange of knowledge” removes every refund right. Fees for a call already delivered, programme lessons already delivered, or a correct guide already supplied or accessed are not ordinarily refunded merely because the customer later changes their mind, but every request will be handled under the published policy and applicable law.
12. Educational scope and no guaranteed outcome
New Thought Academy provides metaphysical self-development education and practical reflection. Khwezi's role is that of a teacher and guide. He does not program, control or “drive” a client's mind and does not make personal decisions for the client.
The material is not psychotherapy, counselling, psychological assessment, medical diagnosis or treatment, financial or investment advice, legal advice, or emergency support. References to manifestation, subconscious reprogramming, identity, natural laws, infinite intelligence, internal freedom or external freedom are part of Khwezi's metaphysical teaching framework. They are not a clinical diagnosis, a scientific guarantee or a promise that thoughts alone control other people or outside events.
Results depend on the person, their circumstances, choices and actions. No particular emotional, financial, relationship, health, career, business or other outcome is guaranteed. The Self-Development Disclaimer forms part of these Terms: Disclaimer.
13. Intellectual property and personal-use licence
The Practical Guide, worksheets, lesson material, original text, graphics and recordings supplied by New Thought Academy remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. A paid purchaser receives a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the supplied material for their own learning.
Unless the law permits it or Khwezi gives written permission, you may not resell, publish, upload, copy for a group, teach from, distribute or commercially exploit the material. You may keep a reasonable personal backup copy. No call or lesson may be recorded, shared or published without clear permission from everyone recorded.
14. Third-party platforms
Shopify is intended to host the live website, product order and digital-delivery journey. Calendly supplies the embedded scheduling tool, Paystack or the payment provider shown at booking processes payment, and WhatsApp/Meta may supply messaging or video functions. These providers have their own terms, privacy notices, availability and technical limits.
New Thought Academy is still responsible for its own promises and legal duties. It cannot guarantee that a third-party platform or the customer's internet connection will never fail. If a platform problem prevents a paid service from being delivered, both sides will first try a reasonable alternative time or delivery method. This does not remove a remedy that the law gives the customer.
15. Pausing or ending participation
New Thought Academy may pause group access or future sessions where reasonably necessary because of non-payment, serious misconduct, a safety concern, unlawful use of the material, or a material breach of these Terms. Where the CPA requires notice and an opportunity to correct a breach, that process will be followed before the agreement is ended.
Any cancellation charge or refund must be fair and based on what was actually delivered, reasonable commitments already made, the notice given and the remaining value. New Thought Academy will not automatically keep every future instalment or cancel every remaining lesson because of a minor breach.
16. Changes, delays and events outside reasonable control
New Thought Academy may improve website wording, lesson order or non-material features. A material change to the price, payment count, core service or cancellation terms will not be applied retrospectively to an existing purchase without the customer's agreement where agreement is required.
If illness, load shedding, a platform failure or another event outside reasonable control delays a session or digital delivery, New Thought Academy will communicate and offer a reasonable new time or delivery method. If the remaining paid service cannot be supplied, the undelivered portion will be handled under the Cancellation & Refund Policy and applicable law.
17. Responsibility and limits that the law allows
New Thought Academy will use reasonable care and skill in supplying paid services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, deliberate misconduct, or any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent the law permits, New Thought Academy is not responsible for a loss caused by a customer's independent decision, failure to seek appropriate qualified advice, misuse of the material, unauthorised sharing of a payment or download link, or a third-party platform failure outside New Thought Academy's reasonable control. This clause does not remove the duty to provide the service purchased or an applicable remedy for defective, unsafe or materially misdescribed performance.
18. Complaints and disputes
Please first send the complaint to khwezi@newthoughtacademy.world or WhatsApp +27 62 654 0463. Include your name, purchase email, offer, Paystack reference and a clear explanation of the problem. Never send card numbers, CVV codes, passwords or one-time PINs.
New Thought Academy will try to resolve the matter in good faith. If it cannot be resolved, the customer may use any consumer commission, regulator, ombud, tribunal or court process available under South African law. These Terms are governed by South African law, but they do not force a consumer to give up a forum or remedy that the law makes available.
19. General
If a court or regulator finds one clause unlawful or unenforceable, that clause will be limited or removed only to the extent needed; the rest remains in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a permanent waiver of that right. These Terms, the selected offer page, the checkout description, the Cancellation & Refund Policy, Privacy Notice and Disclaimer record the agreement for the purchase, together with any specific written arrangement accepted by both sides.
